Community Course Fees
At Adult Learning Wales, we want to keep our courses accessible for our learners. Depending on the course and your personal circumstances, your course could even be completely free.
Our course fees fall into three main categories:
- Fully funded courses: these are free courses.
- Part-funded courses: these are £2 per hour, but concessions may apply.
- Learner-funded: £8 per hour, for specific courses or for learners who do not qualify for public funding.
If you have to pay for your course, you will receive a fee invoice directly after enrolment via the email address you enrolled with. Payment will be required to confirm your place on the course.
If you are currently studying on a HE course, studying over 16 hours per week on an FE course, or you live outside Wales, you will be required to pay the £8 per hour course fee.
Other costs:
- You may have to pay for the course materials, e.g. textbooks, art supplies, fabrics, etc.
