This course will support ESOL learners with the Language and Grammar needed to read and understand the information present in the Highway Code.

The course covers essential English language skills, key driving vocabulary, road signs, and safety information including: • Applying for Provisional Driving License • Safety and your vehicle: controls, warning lights, tyres, passenger safety, security and crime. • Documents required for owning or keeping a car. · driving licenses · tax · M.O.T. · insurance • Alertness · fitness to drive · what causes accidents • Road Safety • Vehicle Handling • Rules of the road

This course will help you to learn some Driving Theory Information needed to start your journey into Driving in the UK.

Qualification

None. This course does not secure learners passing their Driving Theory Exams.

This course is an Online Course. You will need a computer/laptop with speakers and a microphone/headset in order to attend. This course is delivered via MS TEAMS. ALW will provide access to the course, as well as support to join the sessions.
