This beginners counselling course forms the foundation of professional counselling practice. It will also provide the essential listening and communication skills used in counselling. Concession fee available.

This is an online tutor-led course which introduces the learner to:
*Counselling skills theory.
*Ethical approaches to counselling.
*Skills, knowledge and attitudes required in counselling.
*Person centered counselling

Awarding Body: Agored Cymru - Level 2 Certificate

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements however learners should be able to demonstrate good literacy skills and have IT skills to complete the assignment.
Content Warning: This unit is not appropriate for those who are currently in a state of severe emotional difficulty and/or severe psychological distress as the course includes experiential elements that will involve some personal disclosure and associated personal developmental activities.
