Overview

This taster course is a short, beginner-friendly workshop, designed to introduce learners to foundational fabric techniques, surface design, and fibre manipulation. The course will be delivered in a relaxed environment, and learners will have the opportunity to experiment with mixed media, sewing and textiles, without needing prior experience.

Content

Learners attending this two week taster course will have the opportunity to explore some Textile Art Techniques to create and take home a personalised item of their choice.

This taster course is Non-Accredited.

What Do I Need?

Learners will need a selection of fabrics/fat quarters of own choice, or they will be welcomed to use some donated material that we have in stock. All other resources will be provided, including Sewing Machines.
