Overview

This course will explore embroidery stitches, texture and design. You will learn to combine thread, fabric and surface decoration. You will develop embroidery as a textile art as well as a possible self employment career/side hustle.
You will take home an embroidered sample or small textile artwork.

Content

The goal is to provide a foundation for creating a small project and to show how to use embroidery techniques can be used for both simple motifs and complex artwork.

Qualification

This course does not provide a qualification.

Entry Requirements

This course is for complete beginners however, it will accommodate improvers.
