Overview

This free smartphone skills taster course will help you build confidence using your smartphone in everyday life. In a friendly and supportive environment, you will explore some of the key features and functions available on your device.

Content

Would you like to get more from your smartphone and improve your digital confidence? If so, this course is for you. During these sessions, you will be introduced to basic smartphone use, including making calls, sending messages, connecting to Wi-Fi, using apps, adjusting settings and staying safe when using your device.

Qualification

This course is non accredited.

Entry Requirements

This course is open to all. No previous experience is required.

What Do I Need?

This course will be delivered face to face at Glynneath Training Centre. Please bring your own smartphone with you so that you can take part in practical activities and develop your confidence using your device. Learning materials will be provided during the sessions. A notebook and pen will also be useful for taking notes.
