These two taster sessions will give you the opportunity to meet the tutor and experience what the Modern History of Wales course has to offer. You will explore a selection of historical topics, take part in discussion and gain an insight into how the longer course will be delivered.

Content

This course will explore key events and developments in modern Welsh history, discover how industry, politics and society have shaped modern Wales, learn about influential people, communities and movements that have contributed to Wales' history, examine a range of historical sources and take part in group discussions and develop your knowledge and appreciation of Wales' rich heritage.

Qualification

These taster sessions are non accredited.

Entry Requirements

No previous knowledge or experience is required. These taster sessions are suitable for anyone with an interest in Welsh history and heritage.

Opportunities to Progress

Following the taster sessions, you will have the opportunity to enrol onto longer non accredited or accredited history courses, allowing you to explore the subject in greater depth and continue your learning journey.
