You will develop practical sewing and garment making skills, including using patterns, sewing techniques and constructing garments. You will have the opportunity to make a variety of garments and textile projects, allowing you to be creative while building your confidence and skills.

What Do I Need?

Sewing machines are available for you to use during the course. To help keep costs down, we encourage you to use fabrics and other suitable materials you may already have at home wherever possible. This could include upcycling or recycling old clothes, fabrics and other textiles to create something new.
Your tutor will contact you before the course starts to discuss what you will need for your projects and help you prepare for your first session.
