In this taster course, we want to explore an introduction to art, crafts and exchange patterns from the Neolithic to the Roman period in a comparative view, largely based on archaeological evidence.

Content

The world has always been a global place with people exchanging goods, ideas and knowhow at least since 10,000 BCE. A global world did not lead to a homogenous culture, but to more creativity, inspiring local communities, developing new ideas for artistic and technological advancement.

Qualification

This course does not provide a qualification. Certificates of Attendance issued when requested by learners.

What Do I Need?

This course is delivered via MS Teams. The organisation will provide an email address and a password in order to access the course. IT Support will be provided to help learners accessing the course, if needed. You will need access to a Desktop/Laptop Computer (or a Tablet), with a camera and microphone to interact with the tutor and other learners. Headphones encouraged to be used.
