Overview

Learners will be guided through a range of Art and Design skills based on their own choice of subject matter. For example, this could be a favourite artist, culture, song lyrics, poem, memory or interest.

Content

In this project-based course, you will be guided in experimenting with a range of materials and methods used in the Art & Design industry. You will produce a portfolio of preparation work and a final piece based on your own ideas with the support of the tutor.

What Do I Need?

Basic Art Materials including drawing pencils, rubber, watercolour paints, paint brushes, art/drawing pad. Your tutor will advise on what you need. Materials do not have to purchased before the first session and can be acquired over time.
