We will look at short story, creative non-fiction, memoir and flash fiction.

Whether you have written before or have yet to get the words down on the page, these taster sessions will include exercises, prompts, inspiration and encouragement to get you going on a new writing journey.

Qualification

This course does not provide a qualification. Certificates of Attendance issued when requested by learners.

Opportunities to Progress

The follow-on courses will include weekly prompts, set tasks, writing theory, tricks and tips. You will complete several short stories and works of non-fiction on the course and receive constructive feedback from your peers and tutor throughout.

What Do I Need?

This course is delivered via MS Teams. The organisation will provide an email address and a password in order to access the course. IT Support will be provided to help learners accessing the course, if needed. You will need access to a Desktop/Laptop Computer (or a Tablet), with a camera and microphone to interact with the tutor and other learners. Headphones encouraged to be used.
