Do you have an interest in watercolour painting and would like to learn traditional techniques to improve your art skills? This informal, watercolour course is for beginners who want to learn the steps to developing their painting skills.

Content

This friendly, beginner watercolour taster session introduces absolute beginners to the relaxing art of painting with water and pigment. You will learn basic techniques, play with washes, and complete a simple watercolour painting.

Qualification

This is a non accredited course.

Entry Requirements

This course is for beginners to watercolour. No previous experience is needed and there are no formal entry requirements. Other levels also welcome to join.

Opportunities to Progress

This Taster Session leads to a 6-Week Watercolour Painting Course with Adult Learning Wales. Progression will also cover Accredited and Non-Accredited Courses at higher levels.

What Do I Need?

This course is delivered online. You will need access to a Laptop/Desktop Computer, Speakers & Camera, and a Microphone. You will need access to a Wi-Fi connection. This course is delivered via MS Teams. We recommend that you check access to the course prior to the start of it. If support is needed, our IT Department will be happy to help.
You will also need: High-quality paper, brushes, cleaning pots and paints.
