Overview
Would you like to get creative, try something new and meet the tutor?These free mixed media taster sessions give you the opportunity to explore your creativity in a fun and relaxed environment. You will create your own mixed media collage while trying different materials and techniques.
The sessions are suitable for beginners and those with some previous experience.
Content
During the sessions, you will create a mixed media collage on an A4 canvas or larger, experiment with colour, texture and composition, use magazines and other interesting materials, develop your creativity and confidence, and meet the tutor to discuss ideas for future art coursesQualification

There are no formal entry requirements, and no previous art experience is needed.Opportunities to Progress
The taster sessions are an opportunity to discuss follow-on courses with the tutor, which could include watercolour, acrylics, clay modelling, sketching, mixed media and other creative subjects.What Do I Need?
Please bring:• An A4 canvas or larger
• Magazines
• PVA glue
• Scissors
• Old jewellery or other interesting items you would like to use in your artwork
