Secure English Language Test Courses
Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales is one of the largest providers of English language courses in Wales.
We are now offering courses across Wales to prepare you for the Secure English Language Test (SELT), which is required by the Home Office to show that you have the language skills needed to make an application for either Further Leave to Remain, Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) or UK Citizenship.

Courses are run by qualified and experienced tutors using materials provided by Trinity College London that match exactly the skills you will be expected to demonstrate in the test.
Before enrolling on the course we will take you through an assessment of your language skills and advise you of your suitability to join the course and to be successful in the language test.
What language test will you need to pass?
Applicants for Indefinite Leave to Remain or British Citizenship must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in at least CEFR level B1 in Speaking and Listening.
Applicants for Further Leave to Remain must pass a Secure English Language Test (SELT) in at least CEFR level A1 in Speaking and Listening.
Following the preparation course Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales will arrange your test at your nearest Home Office approved SELT centre at a date and time of your choosing.
