OverviewWorking in partnership with JCP, we have developed this bespoke course to help encourage and support local people in the community to apply for the Executive Officer (Work Coach roles). If you are a people person and have some administration skills, JCP are encouraging you to apply for these posts. JCP are disability friendly employers and are signed up to the Disability Confident Scheme, encouraging and supporting you on your employment journey.
This course has everything needed to learn how to successfully complete and prepare for any DWP/Civil service application process.
ContentThis course is a career planning and interview skills course aimed at preparing the learners to apply for the DWP Executive Officer (Work Coach) roles. The course looks at the success profiles recruitment process and fully prepares the learners for each stage of the application such as creating an account on the civil service jobs site, setting alerts for jobs of interest, filling in their basic details, writing behaviour competency statements, completing situational judgement tests and attending the interview. As part of the course they will actually write their behaviour competencies ready and take part in a mock interview. The course is run via MS Teams live sessions with tutor.
QualificationCompleting the course will give you 2 OPEN COLLEGE NETWORK Agored Certificates:
Communication - Preparing for an Interview Level E3 and Career Planning Level 1.

What Do I Need?As this is an online course, you would need the following:
• internet access
• access to a laptop or computer with a web camera and microphone; the use of headphones might also be of benefit
• use of the Chrome web-browser where possible
Please note that our online courses require the use of Microsoft Office 365 apps and our virtual learning environment, Moodle. Once enrolled on a course with us, we provide free access to these services.
