OverviewDuring this course we will look at what confidence is. We will cover the characteristics of a confident person, discuss communication skills, and how these contribute to improving confidence. We will also consider the decision making process, and the emotions and feelings attached to this, considering the affects emotions can have upon the decision making process. We will identify the importance of setting goals and targets to help increase personal confidence. Learners will be supported in creating a plan of action to increase confidence.
This is not a self-help course and is not a substitute for professional medical help or professional care.
ContentThis course may help you to improve and develop your confidence skills, because confidence is a skill that can be learned.
QualificationCompletion of this course does not result in a recognised qualification.
However you would receive a certificate of completion from us which would be available to download from your MyAccount.

What Do I Need?As this is an online course, you would need the following:
• internet access
• access to a laptop or computer with a web camera and microphone; the use of headphones might also be of benefit
• use of the Chrome web-browser where possible
