OverviewThis course will cover the following:-
Strategies for time management to improve organisation skills.
How to make an excellent impression: Dress codes, body language and language skills (tone and positive language).
Telephone communication, team working, organisation skills, knowing the organisation.
Communication and customer service skills: What is customer service and why does it matter?
Complaints: How to handle difficult customers. Effective listening and questioning skills. Rapport building techniques.
ContentThis course will provide learners with an introduction to the role of the receptionist.
This course will help you to:-
Develop your understanding of what the role of the receptionist is and improve your skills to become a successful receptionist.
Develop your own interpersonal skills to become a more effective communicator.
Develop skills to handle difficult customers and complaints.
QualificationCompletion of this course does not result in a recognised qualification.
However you would receive a certificate of completion from us which would be available to download from your MyAccount.
Entry RequirementsNo previous experience of reception skills is needed.

What Do I Need?As this is an online course, you would need the following:
• internet access
• access to a laptop or computer with a web camera and microphone; the use of headphones might also be of benefit
• use of the Chrome web-browser where possible
