Overview

This course will be taught through demonstrations, and a discussion weekly. Each learner will create at least two unique creative end products, using their chosen techniques. Step-by-step guidance of stich techniques throughout this course from the tutor.
This course is suitable for beginners and open to those who have previously knitted. This course will expand your knitting skills. The crochet will be taught using graphs and written information. The learner will product items following tutor demonstrations. Each learner will create a unique creative end product using new techniques explained step by step through guidance from the tutor.

Content

This course is aimed at learners who would like learn all about the Art of Knitting. The course would cover many knitting techniques. Starting with knit and purl, rib, cable, bobbles, lace, fairisle, intarsia and finally knitting with beads and sequins. Also, this course is aimed at learners who would like learn all about the Art of Crochet. The course would cover many Crochet techniques.

What Do I Need?

As this is an online course, you would need the following:
• internet access
• access to a laptop or computer with a web camera and microphone; the use of headphones might also be of benefit
• use of the Chrome web-browser where possible

Please note that our online courses require the use of Microsoft Office 365 apps and our virtual learning environment, Moodle. Once enrolled on a course with us, we provide free access to these services.
