Overview

This course provides the knowledge and skills needed to deliver successful training for adults. You will learn the key principles of training, allowing you to better understand how people learn, retain and transfer knowledge. Embedded within this course is an essential skills unit that will help you learn how to support those with essential skills needs.

Content

This course is based on the training cycle, covering three main areas: planning, delivery, assessment. The course will look at: • Supporting learners needs • Different learning styles • Assessment methods and activities • Planning a training session and resources • Giving feedback

Qualification

Level 2 Agored Cymru Award - Train the Trainer.

Entry Requirements

Ability to write at a Level 2 standard – i.e. write in paragraphs.
Ability to engage fully in a level 2 course.

Career Path

Agored Cymru - Award in Education and Training Level 3 (AET).

What Do I Need?

As this is an online course, you would need the following:
• internet access
• access to a laptop or computer with a web camera and microphone; the use of headphones might also be of benefit
• use of the Chrome web-browser where possible

Please note that our online courses require the use of Microsoft Office 365 apps and our virtual learning environment, Moodle. Once enrolled on a course with us, we provide free access to these services.


As this course will be delivered online learners will need either a laptop or PC with camera and microphone, WIFI and an email address.
