The Margaret Jones award winner for 2017 has been anounced as Tara Price from Llanelli.
27 April 2017 marked the network launch of Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales, an independent voluntary adult education movement and the largest all-Wales provider of adult learning - coming as the result of mergers between the WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) in north and south Wales, Coleg Harlech, and YMCA Wales Community College.
Press Release: Following the announcement that learning is to end at the former Coleg Harlech Wern Fawr site in July, the buildings operator, Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales – formerly known as WEA YMCA CC Cymru - has reaffirmed its commitment to Harlech and underlined the importance of working together with the community at a time of uncertainty.
“The tutor delivered the session at a very high standard, she engaged well with us. It was fun and informative.”
“For me this course was the best! I think this course is helping me to improve my English language, and my relationships with my colleagues at work, because now I can understand and talk with them.”
“A small class was good because we had the attention we needed to learn and progress to the next stage.”
