The auditorium in Harlech’s Theatr Ardudwy is to close as the venue's landlord Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales and the theatre board, take decisive steps as a result of health and safety concerns. 

Is there a relationship between parental involvement in adult learning and a child’s achievement at school? In the Autumn of 2012, this was the question posed by Suzanne Samuel, which led to her PhD studentship at Cardiff University in collaboration with WEA South Wales.

Tuesday 7th November, saw the Inspire Tutor Awards being held in Cardiff, and we're very proud to say that our tutor Sue Jones won an Inspire Tutor award, this despite having retired 3 times!

We are once again involved in National Coding Week (18th-22nd September) this year.

On Tuesday July 4th, the Cyswllt Dysgu Adult Learning Awards took place in Old Colwyn, kindly hosted by TAPE Community Music and Film.

On 29th June, we exhibited at the Senedd showcasing the variety of learning options available at Wales’ leading Further Education Institutions.

Our Caerphilly Branch has been running for 20 years, and to mark this significant milestone several events have been planned.
