National Coding Week 2016

It’s that time of year again where we look to inspire people to learn coding and other digital skills during National Coding Week.

The week-long event offers adults an insight into digital industries, giving adults an opportunity to learn how to write computer code, and potentially open the door to a new career.

This years’ National Coding Week will take place from September 19th - 25th. WEA YMCA CC Cymru are offering their course learners across Wales the opportunity to complete an Interactive Coding Activity. This provides learners an introduction to coding as well as a chance to try coding themselves. And to support tutors and learners, a video introduction to coding has also been produced.

At last years’ National Coding Awards ceremony, WEA YMCA CC Cymru was recognised for its contribution to the week-long event, winning the Award for Wales. So good luck to all involved for this year and who knows what 2017’s National Coding Awards might bring!
