As a Microsoft instructor, Diane Jones had a good job and a secure future however, following a struggle from addiction and depression following a sudden divorce, Diane found herself in a very dark place.
Following a career in the Army, Ian suffered with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and ended up being homeless for a period of time. After a period of counselling, and being able to secure accommodation, he decided to try to secure some work and eventually found a job as a refuse collector with Cardiff Council.
Currently, learner engagement continues to be a strength, with 16,522 enrolments to date, and 9,820 learners engaged in 21,578 activities (academic year 2017-18). Our Curriculum plan is currently on target with 70% having been achieved as of 13th March 2018.
