Merger preparations between WEA Cymru and YMCA Wales Community College are well underway.
WEA Cymru and the YMCA Community College will merge this year to form a national organisation seeking to be the lead provider of adult community and workplace learning in Wales. WEA Cymru is now seeking to appoint a Chief Executive to take the new organisation forward.
YMCA Wales Community College and WEA Cymru are considering developing strategic options tor build closer links to create a National College of Adult Learning, which may lead to an institutional merger.
