On Saturday 25 November, the ‘Carpentry for All’ Branch and Adult Learning Wales will be hosting a Christmas Craft Fair at the Port Talbot Learning Hub, Addison Road Workshops, Port Talbot.

The festive themed event will see 12 local crafters, many based from Port Talbot and the surrounding area, selling crafts and gifts: making the perfect stocking fillers and unique gift ideas for all ages and tastes. From hand made wooden planters to jewellery, cosmetics to laser engraved crafts, there will be plenty of opportunities to find a distinctive gift for a loved one or friend. Stallholders confirmed for the Christmas Fair include:

Carpentry for All

Maria Parry Jones

Delyth Davies

LAS Crafts

Main Street Cosmetics

Rachel Halstead

Busy Bean by Irine

Mandy Barrett

Angie and Kitty

Heather White

Helvetia Skincare

Normally functioning as a learning hub and workshop used both by the ‘Carpentry for All’ Branch and Adult Learning Wales, the Addison Road Workshops will magically transform into a unique shopping experience to host the festive fair. Visitors to the fair will have the chance to win a hamper of gifts, kindly donated by the stall holders. All monies raised from the raffle will go to support the ‘Carpentry for All’ Branch. Refreshments and snacks will also be available to purchase on the day.

Beth John, Regional Manager – South West and Mid for Adult Learning Wales said:

“We are delighted that this unique event will bring together our valued Branch members and the Organisation at such a special time of year. The Branch and ALW has a strong, established history of close and productive partnership working, and we are hoping that this event will become a fixed feature of the Regional and Organisational calendar, for years to come. Engagement with the local community of Port Talbot is a critical feature of both the Branch and ALWs work in the area, and we look forward to welcoming our learners, staff, partners and members of the public, to a festive, fun-filled day.”
